Founders Demetri Tsolakis and Stefanos Ougrinis always shared a common passion for their Greek culture. Demetri being born in the USA and Stefanos from Greece, they both grew up in Greek kitchens, miles apart. Their friendship evolved to introduce Greco in 2015, opening the first location in Boston’s Back Bay. It was a small but charismatic – a welcoming space for the neighborhood to gather around truly Greek food, desserts and coffee that provided a sense of adventure and place.

Greco continue to grow with four locations in Boston and more locations opening in other major cities. Each location has its own personality but always encompasses the Greco philosophy of philoxenia – the hospitality shown to a stranger, turning them into a friend. Along with our fresh, homemade Greek cuisine and enlightened hospitality, Greco delivers a truly Greek experience.
